Migrosbank: e-banking with a smart card
The existing MIGROSBANK solution was augmented with a smart card-based strong authentication and successfully tested in a pilot operation.

The project included the following areas:

• Extension of the bank's card management to include a registration authority for certificates;
• Setting up a certification authority (issuing of certificates);
• Setting up the production process at the card manufacturer;
• Augmenting the e-banking application with strong authentication;
• Installation of the smart card components at customers.

hmi was in charge of the project management for this project.
